Beautiful mid-summer, landscape river scene with rickety old bridge depicting two young children playing a game of ‘poo sticks’. The accomplished watercolour artist, Constance M Cottom, lived in Dorset in England. She was a professional post card illustrator. Based in Canford Bottom near Wimborne, she also painted Cornish scenes.

This painting on paper is part of a collection of watercolours by her that I own and will be listing.
